  • A representative of a state in the territory of another state, whose task is to foster the economic relations between the two states on a practical level, as well as to assist their co-nationals during their stay in their area of jurisdiction in legal, institutional and bureaucratic issues. The consuls of one state in another state may be more than one and can be stationed in regions that their co-nationals visit often or in which they have developed economic activity.
