- Ελαφριά χρυσά βυζαντινά νομίσματα που εισήχθησαν από τον αυτοκράτορα Νικηφόρο Β’ (963-969 μ.Χ.). Ζύγιζαν 22 καράτια αντί για τα 24 του παλαιότερου σόλιδου. Συνέχισαν να κόβονται από όλους τους διαδόχους του Νικηφόρου Β’ έως το 1092 μ.Χ.
