Planning and executing attacks against humans and infrastructures of strategic or symbolic importance. Terrorist attacks, which are undertaken by individuals or conspiratorial organizations, aim at the aggressive propagandization of ethnic, sociopolitical and religious views and ideologies, at the creation of a climate of insecurity among the population, and at compromising the effectivity of state authorities.
