Scope note
- Ring makers in the traditional societies of the Ottoman period. The word comes from "yüzük" which means "ring" and the addition of the suffix -ci which in Turkish means professions. This occupation declined with industrialization and the emergence and gradual prevalence of the respective modern specialties and professions.
